Privacy Policy

Cheap & Best is a free course-discovery site. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you request. This is used for security and to diagnose problems.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It records aggregate usage such as page views, approximate location, device, and referrer. IP addresses are not stored by us, and we do not use it to identify you personally. See Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with a browser extension or by blocking analytics cookies.
• No accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or profile on Cheap & Best, so we do not hold names, passwords, or payment details.

Cookies

We use cookies needed for the site to function and the cookies Google Analytics sets to measure traffic. When you click an affiliate link, the destination provider (for example Udemy or Coursera) may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. Those cookies are governed by that provider's privacy policy, not ours. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Affiliate and outbound links

Some links to course providers are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you enrol or buy. This does not change the price you pay. See our affiliate disclosure for detail. Once you leave Cheap & Best, the site you land on has its own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them.

Third parties

We do not sell or rent your data. Limited data is processed by the service providers that make the site run: Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery) and Google Analytics (traffic measurement). We may disclose information if required by law.

Children

Cheap & Best is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your choices

You can browse without providing any personal information, use browser controls to limit cookies and tracking, and contact us to ask what data relating to you we might hold or to request its deletion.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
